Trip To Local Monasteries - 06/29/2012
In June a group of men from our Cathedral went to St. Tikhon's Monastery for a retreat. On the way to St. Tikhon's we made a quick stop at Holy Protection Convent (Agia Skepi), a women's monastery that was recently established in Poconos. We stayed overnight at St. Tikhon's which allowed us to attend both the services of Vespers and Matins in the evening and the Divine Liturgy in the morning. This was a very memorable trip for everyone who participated.

Visit by St. Tikhon's Mission Choir - 05/06/2012
On Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6 we had a blessing of St. Tikhon's Seminary Choir visiting St. Stephen's once again and singing responses at Saturday Vespers and Sunday Liturgy. It was a wonderful testament of the work that is being done at St. Tikhon’s in both educating the future clergy of the Church and in providing an opportunity for our faithful to learn more about the ancient tradition of Orthodox singing. Through the generosity of our parishioners we were able to present St. Tikhon’s Seminary with a donation in the amount of $2000. We want to thank all those who contributed and also remember in prayer our departed parishioner Catherine Paulasack, whose bequest to our Cathedral for charitable distribution contributed to this amount. We also want to thank all the family that hosted seminarians during their visit to St. Stephen. May the Lord bless you with Many Years!(4 images)

Gazebo Blessing and Sundae Sunday - 10/11/2009
On Oct. 11 we had a service of blessing of the Gazebo located by our parking lot. This Gazebo was made possible through a generous donation by Helen Davis and already has come to a good use by many of our parishioners and visitors.
Also, on the same day our Sunday School children held their annual Sundae Sunday event. As in the past, all proceeds will be given as a donation to buy stockings filled with presents for children in Russia, Albania, Poland, Slovakia, the Ukraine and Alaska.
